For the most memorable cocktails in Belfast, take a seat and marvel at the unparalleled vistas of the city while we serve you the most masterful mixology creations and classic drinks.
The Observatory is open Monday – Thursday, 3pm – Late, and Friday – Sunday, 1pm – Late. The dress code is smart attire, and as with anything, the management reserves the right to refuse admission. Sports tops/shorts and other such attire will not be permitted. No persons under the age of 12 will be permitted after 6pm. 12-18-year-olds are permitted until 9pm when accompanied by an adult, and only 18-year-olds & over are permitted after 9pm.
Afternoon Tea is available daily in the Observatory, and bookings can be made via our online booking system below. For cocktails and drinks*, admission is on a first come first serve basis. Please note that priority will be given to hotel residents in the evening.
Afternoon Tea at the Observatory

The Observatory’s Afternoon Tea menu is a carefully curated journey through the finest local and seasonal ingredients, meticulously prepared to delight even the most discerning palates. Begin with a selection of delicate finger sandwiches, each bite a harmonious blend of flavours and textures. From the classic cucumber and cream cheese to the more adventurous smoked salmon with dill and caper butter, every sandwich is a testament to our culinary artistry. Accompanying these savoury delights are freshly baked scones, served warm with clotted cream and an array of artisanal preserves.
The pièce de résistance is the assortment of pastries and confections that crown this elegant affair. Imagine an array of intricately crafted desserts, from velvety chocolate éclairs to tangy lemon tarts, each one a miniature work of art. The Pâtisserie Team at The Observatory takes great pride in their exquisite creations, ensuring each dessert provides a symphony of flavour with every bite. Our Afternoon Tea is served daily from 1-5 p.m, from £45 per person. Please note that 24 hours’ notice is required for all Afternoon Tea bookings. Kids Afternoon Tea
Afternoon Tea shouldn’t be limited to adults. Our brand new Kids Menu can be booked alongside our Festive Afternoon Tea, allowing little ones to experience something magical with their own sandwiches, scones, and a heavenly chocolate patisserie section, all accompanied by a delicious hot chocolate.
Please note all Afternoon Tea bookings must be made, and dietary requirements must be stated 24 hours in advance.
The Bollinger Experience
A five-star experience at the height of contemporary luxury. Gaze out across the city while you savour a bottle of chilled Bollinger Champagne served with an array of handcrafted sharing canapés.
This experience is designed for a maximum of four people at a reserved window table, which will be yours for 90 minutes.
Priced at £120, The Bollinger Experience offers an exclusive experience of Belfast at its finest. With a select number of tables available each day, booking is required.
